राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को अधीर रंजन चौधरी द्वारा ‘राष्ट्रपत्नी’ बोले जाने पर बवाल थम नहीं रहा है। पहले इस मुद्दे पर भारतीय जनता पार्टी की ओर से राज्यसभा और लोकसभा में जमकर बवाल किया गया। इसके बाद अब सदन से बाहर सोनिया गांधी और स्मृति इरानी की जमकर बहस हुई है। बताया जा रहा है की सदन की कार्यवाही स्थगित किए जाने के बाद सोनिया गांधी जब बाहर निकल रही थीं तो उन्हें देखकर भाजपा के सांसद नारेबाजी करने लगे। इस बीच सोनिया गांधी भाजपा की सांसद रमा देवी के पास आईं और उन्होंने कहा कि अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने अपनी टिप्पणी के लिए माफी मांग ली है।
इसी बीच स्मृति इरानी ने बीच में दखल देने की कोशिश की, जिस पर सोनिया गांधी भड़क गईं। उन्होंने कहा कि मैं आपसे बात नहीं करना चाहती। सोनिया गांधी ने ”Do not talk to me’‘ कहा, जिसके जवाब में स्मृति इरानी ने भी कुछ कहा और दोनों के बीच करीब दो-तीन मिनट तक जमकर बहस चली। साफ है कि संसद में विपक्ष और सत्तापक्ष के बीच कड़वाहट बढ़ गई है और नेताओं के आपसी रिश्तों में भी खटास देखने को मिल रही है। बता दें कि स्मृति इरानी इस मुद्दे पर संसद में भी आक्रामक थीं। उन्होंने कहा था कि सोनिया गांधी की अनुमति से ही अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने ऐसा बयान दिया है, इसलिए खुद सोनिया गांधी को पूरे देश से माफी मांगनी चाहिए।
निर्मला ने स्मृति का दिया साथ
 केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने इस मामले पर कहा, ”हमारे कुछ लोकसभा सांसदों को खतरा महसूस हुआ जब सोनिया गांधी हमारी वरिष्ठ नेता रमा देवी के पास यह जानने के लिए आईं कि क्या हो रहा था”। इस दौरान हमारा एक सदस्य वहां पहुंचा और सोनिया गांधी ने कहा “मुझसे बात मत करो।” 

कांग्रेस पार्टी का बीजेपी पर पलटवार
वहीं दूसरी ओर, कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने पलटवार किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि, ”आज लोकसभा में केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरानी ने अमर्यादित और अपमानजनक बरताव किया। लेकिन क्या स्पीकर इसकी निंदा करेंगे? क्या नियम सिर्फ विपक्ष के लिए होते हैं?
हंगामा क्यों शुरू हुआ ?
महाहिम राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू को ‘राष्ट्रपत्नी’ बोलने पर संसद में भारी हंगामा हुआ है। कांग्रेस नेता अधीर रंजन चौधरी ने बुधवार को दिल्ली में पार्टी के एक प्रदर्शन के दौरान राष्ट्रपति के लिए इस शब्द का इस्तेमाल किया था। इसे अब भाजपा ने मुद्दा बना लिया है। संसद में वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण और स्मृति इरानी ने कांग्रेस पर तीखा हमला बोला। स्मृति इरानी ने कहा कि इसके लिए कांग्रेस को पूरे देश से माफी मांगनी चाहिए।
